Online estimates are based on the information you provide. If the property differs materially in size, storeys, access or scope, we will confirm any price adjustment before the inspection proceeds.
You must arrange safe entry to the property at the agreed time. You also need consent from the builder or agent if required. The inspector cannot enter if the property is not accessible at that time. This may result in a call-out fee.
The inspection involves a visual check of areas that can be safely reached. The work follows the relevant Australian Standard. The report details any areas that are hidden, hard to access or blocked off.
The report is written for the client who ordered the inspection and shows the state of the property at the time it is viewed. It does not act as a warranty or guarantee against future defects. No one else may rely on it without a written agreement from the provider.
Full payment is required prior to receiving the report. This amount includes GST.
You can cancel or change the appointment without cost if you give at least 24 hours' warning. If you cancel with less notice, a fee applies for the inspector's time.
The business limits liability for any claim regarding an inspection or report to the fee paid for that specific service. These conditions do not remove consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
